It is always a pleasure when I see or read honest stories about Mexico.
Albeit late, this video from Fox News was just brought to my attention today and I wanted to share it with you.
In this short video, Robert Reid from Lonely Planet is interviewed about travel to Mexico. He points out that 17 of the 31 states in Mexico are perfectly safe for tourists. In fact, Mr. Reid discusses some not to be missed sights in these destinations. I couldn’t agree more with the facts Mr. Reid points out, and remind people that you would not cancel a trip to Boston because there was crime in Chicago. Besides discussing how safe it is in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Mr. Reid talks about the beauty and experiences when visiting some of the colonial cities of Mexico such as Merida and San Miguel Allende. I couldn’t agree more with Mr. Reid. I have been fortunate to travel to many places in the world and can honestly say that the colonial cities of Mexico rival many European cities.
